Hello, I’m Vickie Bullock, a professional artist. I discovered my talent for art at an early age when I was in grade school thanks to the attention of several teachers. Taking an interest in my doodling, the faculty asked me to design, draw, and paint my entire school’s bulletin boards.
As I grew, my artistic talents did the same. I tried my hand at oil painting before meeting a wonderful art teacher from New York who encouraged and honed my skills. Thanks to her, at fourteen years old, some of my paintings were displayed at various exhibitions in and around the Charlottesville, Virginia area. Other works were sold to various art enthusiasts around the country. During this time, I discovered my true calling was in watercolor art.
Over the years I’ve created hundreds of watercolor paintings for friends, family, schools (bulletin boards, school play sets, classroom paintings), and special events (birthdays, banquets, class reunions).
